There is a spiritual principle that is very powerful and it works in conjunction with Faith Filled Words, that principle is the Power of Praise. In Luke 13, the author shares a story that speaks of the power of praise. Verses 11-13 read: "And behold, there was woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself. And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity. And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God."
Do you need a sudden blessing from the Lord?
The infirmed woman was bowed over and couldn't straighten herself, yet she was desperate to receive a Word from the Lord. She made her way to church to hear a young, relatively unknown rhabi deliver the Word. His name was Jesus. Immediately, quickly and straightway is how the infirmed woman received her blessing. Note the correlation. Although her suffering had lasted 18 years, she attended service that day, sought the Lord and received immediate healing. Remember Job? His test was long and painful, but God restored him as well.
When you seek the Word and instill it in your heart, God is pleased. He considers it a form of praise and it is that praise that positions us for a sudden blessing. This is why every time we hear the scriptures, "by His stripes you are healed" and "you are more than a conqueror," your spirit should be lifted and your faith fortified.
Today, don't let your situation interfere with your praise. Despite your situation, speak Faith Filled Words and Praise him for what he is doing! Remember 1 Corinthians 2:9, "...Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him."
